Vita and Lissandra/Iola drifted, floating in the shimmering green waters of their metamorphosis pod with dreamlike serenity. Aware, but uncritical, they felt in shared awe as their bodies pressed together, their sense of feeling and awareness spreading throughout each other’s body until there was no distinction between the two.
